Salman Khan comes forward to help out the Pulwama martyrs

The Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir experienced one of the worst terrorist attacks in recent times when Jaish-e-Mohammad’s suicide bomber hit his vehicle packed with explosives into a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bus on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway. This resulted in the death of around 40 jawans. Obviously, from common people to Bollywood celebrities, everyone in the country is currently enraged over this act of terrorism. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan will be donating Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the martyrs and now Salman Khan has come forward to help the lives of those affected with the incident. 

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju took to his Twitter handle to confirm the same. His tweet read, “Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan on offering to contribute for Pulwama Martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION. I'll work out for handing over of the cheques in the account of #BharatKeVeer @BharatKeVeer.”

Salman Khan is known to always come forward and help the ones in need when required. His Being Human foundation was mainly established with the aim of satisfying the basic and educational needs of children across the country. During the Kerala flood last year, he reportedly donated Rs 12 crore for the victims.
