Ayushmann Khurrana talks about his unique character in Dream Girl

With films like Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho to his credit, 2018 turned out to be one of the best years for Ayushmann Khurrana on the professional front. The Vicky Donor actor will be next seen in Raaj Shaandilyaa's comedy-drama, Dream Girl alongside Nushrat Bharucha.

Opening up about Dream Girl and his role in the film, Ayushmann said, “Dream Girl is really unique, really interesting because I get to wear a saree in the film. It’s about a guy who plays Sita in Ram Leela. Traditionally, in our country, we have all seen guys playing Sita, so I’m one of those. He has the unique talent of taking out voices of both male and female. It’s like a full-on commercial film.”

Earlier, reports suggested that the 34-year-old star will be experimenting with his voice in the film and speak in three different styles, Hindi, Haryanvi and Braj Bhasha (Mathura style of Hindi). The first poster of Dream Girl was released last year where the actor can be seen wearing a saree while sitting on a bike. Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Dream Girl hits the screens by the end of 2019.

Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
