Here’s why Vijay Deverakonda is excited for the release of Kabir Singh

One film that has been generating a lot of buzz is Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh. The film is an official remake of Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey starrer Arjun Reddy and is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed the original. When the film went on floors last year, Vijay also wished Shahid Kapoor the best of luck and expressed how confident he was on the actor doing justice to the part. 

With the film all set to release next week, Vijay spoke about the same in an interview with a leading daily. He revealed that he was excited to see how the director has managed to redirect the original with a new vision. He said, “Knowing Sandeep he must have interpreted the original script—amazing as it was, to begin within an exciting new light.” He also spoke about how he’s looking forward to see how Shahid will portray the character that became extremely popular due in the original. He said, “I did what I had to in Arjun Reddy. I am sure Shahid has done something exceptional in Kabir Singh. Shahid is an actor whose work I’ve liked ever since I saw him in Ishq Vishq.”

Shahid and Kiara will share screen space for the very first time in Kabir Singh. Songs from the film have already become pretty popular amongst the audience and have added to the hype surrounding the film. The film is slated to release on June 21 this year.
